Background of the program
Druk Path Trek is a short Trek which is rewarding and challenging. The views are fascinating and exhilarate ones sense, owing to the incredible beauty and majesty of the himalayas.
The trek starts from Paro Ta Dzong and ends at Motithang, Thimphu. it is actu-ally 6 days trek but we can do it in 5 days too.

Accommodation: Hotel and Camp
Days : 7 Days.

Day 1 : Arrive at Paro; 2280 m
Day 2: Paro sightseeing;
Day 3: Trek Start. Ta Dzong to JeleDzong ( 2591 m )
Day 4: Jele Dzong to Jigme Langtsho ( 3353 m ) 21 Km Hike.
Day 5 : Jigme Langtsho to Phajoding ( 2896 m ) 21 Km.
Day 6 : Phajoding to Thimphu (2320 m ) 7-8 Km
Day 7 : Thimphu to Phuntsholing: 175 Km drive.

Day 1 : Arrive at Paro; 2280 m
Arrive at Paro International Airport. you will be welcomed by our guide by of-fering Trashi Khadhar. We will drive to the hotel for a welcome tea and refresh-ment.

Day 2: Paro sightseeing;

After early Breakfast, we will drive 15 Km towards the north to reach the base of Taktsang Monastry. We will have to hike 2-3 hours to reach the clinging Monas-tery in the cliff. This Monastery is the Jewel of Bhutan and one must visit this. This is an important place of pilgrimage. According to legend Padmasambhava arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated there. After going down we will visit the ruins of Drugyel Dzong, Satsam Chorten and Kitchu Lhakhang. We will also visit
Dumtse Lhakhang, Paro Rimpung Dzong and National Museumlook and move around the town and drive to visit the chortens and Lhakhangs in the town.

Day 3: Trek Start. Ta Dzong to JeleDzong ( 2591 m )

After breakfast we will start hiking from Ta Dzong (National Museum) to reach Jele Dzong which is at 2951 m above the sea level. From here we can view Paro vally and the snow capped mountains behind. We will have a packed lunch on the way. Since it is the first day trek we will have a rest in a camp at JeleDzong. We will explore on the Dzong.

Day 4: Jele Dzong to Jigme Langtsho ( 3353 m ) 21 Km Hike.
We will start our trek from Jele Dzong to Jigmelangtsho. It is a 21 Km hike. We will pass via Jangchulakha which is at 2896 m and reach Jigme Langtsho where we will have a camp.The lunch will be served at Jangchulakha.

Day 5 : Jigme Langtsho to Phajoding ( 2896 m ) 21 Km.

Our day starts with trail which leads to Simkota (3505 m) where Lunch will be served. We will enjoy the view of the valleys and the mountain in the forest. We will pass via lake Janetsho and reach Phajoding where we will have a good camp.

Day 6 : Phajoding to Thimphu (2320 m ) 7-8 Km

After breakfast we will visit 9 monasteries and Lhakhangs . We will enjoy the wonderful view of Thimphu valley and hike down to reach Motithang, Thimphu. We will have a lunch in a hotel and refresh for sometime. Then we will visit Trashi Chhodzong, Painting school, Folk Heritage Museum, Bhutan Textile Mu-seum, Buddha Point, Memorial Chorten and vegetable market and do some shopping in the town.

Day 7 : Thimphu to Phuntsholing: 175 Km drive.

After breakfast we will drive to Simtokha in the south of Thimphu valley to see the first Dzong built in Bhutan by Zhabdrung Rimpoche. Then we will drive south via Chhudzom, pass Chapcha, Chukha, Gedu and reach Phuntsholing where we you will exit via India. We will bid farewell and pray for you safe jour-ney.
